Environmental Engineering Consulting

Lifewater Engineering Company was founded in 1998 as an environmental engineering consulting company. We transitioned into a manufacturing company in 1999 when a client asked us to design a sewage treatment system for his house on permafrost. We prayed for wisdom, God gave it, and we could not find anyone who could build the system in a cost effective, timely manner so we decided to build it ourselves. Although our primary focus is now on designing and manufacturing sewage treatment plants, we never lost our consulting roots. So if it’s advice you need, please contact us!

 

Cold Regions Engineering Instruction or Consultation

We teach cold regions engineering in both university settings and business settings. Bob Tsigonis, P.E. (Lifewater) along with Dr. John Zarling, P.E. (retired University of Alaska Fairbanks professor) and Dr. Will Nelson, P.E. (retired University of Alaska Anchorage professor) can provide instruction or consultation.

 

 

Water & Sewage System Adequacy Testing

When houses are sold in Alaska, the financial institutions often require that an engineer inspect and test the water and sewage systems to make sure they are adequate. We do water and sewage system adequacy testing.

 

Product Design and Custom Fabrication

Our engineering and fabrication personnel are available to help you put your ideas and dreams onto paper and into reality. Using Solid Works 3-D design software we can create a 3-dimensional computer model of your idea or product. We can then fabricate it and help you take it to market.

 

Machining with a CNC Router

We offer custom machining with our CNC router. The router table can handle a sheet of plastic or wood that is 5 feet wide by 10 feet long.

 

Plastic Fabrication

When we use the term “Fabricator” as a position description, it means plastic fabricator as well as system fabricator. We have several different sizes and types of extrusion and injection welders that can be used to fabricate almost anything you can imagine.

 

Containerizing Your Equipment

If you have equipment that needs to be packaged to operate in the Arctic or Antarctic, we can do that for you. We frequently modify standard shipping containers to house our treatment plants. We also custom build smaller equipment enclosures from plastic.

 

Creative Writing

If you need to express who you are or what you do in poetry or prose, we may be able to help. For example, here is a simple piece that we use to help explain the main part of our business:
