Village, Subdivision, or Cluster Systems
For permanent treatment plants we frequently recommend ceramic flat plate membranes. The advantages of this type of ExtremeSTP® sewage treatment plant include:
- they have a small footprint
- ceramic membranes have a projected 20-year lifetime
- they use very little electrical energy
- they can withstand backpressure during cleaning
- they consistently produce top quality effluent (typically near the detection limits for BOD5 and TSS and at or near zero for fecal coliform)
